Mabel Anna Sophia Steinhoff was born on January 26, 1914 on the family farm north of Syracuse, NE to Fred Steinhoff and Sophia (Grafe) Steinhoff. She passed away on December 1, 2011 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, NE.

Mabel was baptized on March 1, 1914 at the First Lutheran (North Branch) Church. She was Confirmed on April 1, 1928 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards. She especially loved to see her great nieces and nephews. Mabel worked as a Nurses aid at the Community Memorial Hospital in Syracuse and later took care of her parents.

She is survived by two Nephews: Maurice Deubler of Lincoln, NE, Edwin Steinhoff Jr. of Syracuse, NE, five Nieces: Phyllis Mueller of Lincoln, NE, Janice Ullman of Beatrice, NE, Janet Ullman of Lincoln, NE, LaDonna Pasco of Davey, NE, Kathy Royal of Syracuse, NE.

She was precedded in death by: Parents, Sisters Clara Deubler, Agnes Ziegler, 1 brother Edwin Steinhoff, Nephew Arvin Deubler and Great Nephew Aaron Deubler.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 5th at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse, NE.
Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery

No visitation due to cremation.
