Margaret "Jane" Peterson was born January 3, 1926 to Charles Floyd and Margaret Jane (Hicks) Hitt. She died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Louisville Care Center, at the age of 93 years, and 9 days.

Jane married Paul "Pete" Peterson on March 22, 1946 in Hiawatha, Kansas and to this union they raised 2 children Paul and Margaret. Jane loved fishing, (always getting the biggest fish, and the most fish), and sewing (made her sister Charlotte's wedding dress). She loved her grandkids.

Jane is survived by her son Paul and Sharon Peterson of Papillion, NE, daughter Margaret and Roger Wipf of Louisville, NE, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren, her brother Raymond Hitt, of St. Louis Missouri.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents; Charles Floyd and Margaret Jane (Hicks) Hitt, her husband Paul Hugo Peterson, her brothers William Hitt, and Richard Hitt, her sisters; Charlotte Robbins, Mary Fornstrom, Joann Knapp, and Cora Lee Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 18 ^th 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, 222 Walnut Street, Louisville Nebraska, with burial at Riverview Cemetery, Louisville, Nebraska. Family suggests memorials to the family for later designation.

VISITATION  Thursday, January 17 ^th 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. all at the funeral home.
