Marge A. Heinke, 78 of Talmage, was born on February 4, 1947, to Trygve Christian & Dorothy Arlene (Brown) Mikalsen in Winchendon, MA. She passed away on May 3, 2025, at her home. Marge received her LPN license and worked as a nurse for a few years before discovering her true calling as an over-the-road truck driver.

On November 20, 1988, she married Roger G. Heinke in Las Vegas, and they were blessed to work together at Frey Miller. She loved to travel the country, especially going to Oregon. After 45 years of driving, she retired in 2012. Driving wasn't the only way she saw the country; her and Roger were able to enjoy 15 cruises through the years. Marge's other loves were baking, sewing, dancing and most importantly cherished her role as a grandma.

She is survived by her children Tammy Fisher, Penny Barwick, Karen (Steve) Cook, Danny (Marie) Desroches; step-children Ron (Peggy) Heinke, Kathy Dunbar, Tammy (Chad) Klein; sister Darlene (Jason) Findley; 11 Grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; special friends Katherine Dehring, Mary Koch; pet Princess Kali Rose; also nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-daughter Debra Zichek; infant sister Ann Marie Mikalsen and sister Aubrey Lucus.

Funeral Services will be held at Zion United Church of Christ in Talmage on Thursday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in rural Cook.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's, St. Croix Hospice or the Talmage Fire and Rescue.
