Obituary

Marguerite was born, on October 31, 1916, in Syracuse, NE to George and Edith (Bray) Kramer. She passed away, on December 23, 2010, at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center, at the age of 94 years, 1 month, and 23 days.

Marguerite married Harold Hopp, on June 9, 1937, at the Methodist Church, in Syracuse, NE, and to this union they had 2 children Kathlyn, and Gordon. She lived her life to the fullest, Marguerite was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Osage, at Cook, NE, and women's fellowship, (and held all offices), Sunday School Teacher for 17 years, Cradle Roll Superintendent for years, Church Quilting Group, Member of Cook Woman's Club and held all offices, Member of the Osage Election Board, Member of Friendly Farmeretts Extension Club and held all offices, Helped at the Otoe County Fair in the Home Economics section, was leader of a 4-H Club, Member of VFW Auxiliary 5547, Member of CIP, was sub cook at Cook School, Coffee groups that met every Wednesday. Her hobbies were Bowling, Crochett, Knitting, and all kinds of fancy work. She played Softball with the Blue Birds Softball Team.

Marguerite is survived by her son Gordon Hopp and Shari, of Unadilla, Nebraska, granddaughters Cheryl and Curtis Bohling of Cook, Nebraska, Carrie and Todd Bischoff of Cook, Nebraska, Great Grandchildren Kirsten and Barrett Bischoff, sister Lottie Mae Blumberg of Syracuse, Nebraska sister-in-law Dorothy Hopp of St. Paul, Minnesota also many nieces, nephews and friends

Marguerite is preceded in Death By: her parents, husband Harold, in 1994, infant daughter Kathlyn, 3 brothers, and 1 sister and daughter-in-law.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 28 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ "Osage", Cook, Nebraska, with burial at St. Paul's United Church of Christ "Osage", Cook, Nebraska

VISITATION Monday, December 27 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M.
