Marianne Stander age 93 of Louisville, Nebraska, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on November 18, 2023, at her home in rural Louisville, NE.  She was born on May 19, 1930, in Pilger, Nebraska to John and Ann (Theis) Steiner.

As a young child, she moved to Stanton and later South Omaha where she graduated from South High School.  She worked for many years as a secretary at the Omaha Livestock Exchange.  On June 16, 1962, she married Kenny Stander in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to rural Louisville where she lived until her death.

She is survived by her 5 children Dan (Jane) Falcone, Steve (Carolyn) Falcone, Carol (Darren) Stohlmann, Dwight "Yogi" (Teri) Stander, Mike Stander.  12 Grandchildren, Chris Falcone, Chrissy Falcone, Heather Falcone, Jeff Sorensen, Eric Sorensen, Brittany Stander, Sydney Stander, Michaela Werth, Alyssa Stander, Chaz Stander, Shay Stander, and Josh Gibson, 8 great grandchildren, Kaden Falcone, Jaxon Stander, Mason Falcone, Kacey Sorensen, Kyler Sorensen, Kamryn Sorensen, Haylee Werth and Nora Werth, sisters-in-law, Doris Howard, Joyce Stander, Pat Stander, brother-in-law, Don Templemeyer.   She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann (Theis) Steiner, husband Kenny Stander, brother and sister-in-law, Quentin & Donna Steiner, brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Herb (Angie) Stander, Harold (Catherine) Stander, Herman (Rosemary) Bergmann, Butch Stander, Paul Stander and Pat Templemeyer.

Private Family Funeral Services and Burial at Glendale Cemetery will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Cass County Fair Grounds Event Center on Wednesday, November 22nd.

Memorial in lieu of flowers may be directed to the family for future designation.
