Marie Kraenow was born on December 1, 1921 in Ryors, Missouri to Wesley R. and Lizzie (Reithmeyer) Redden. She passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, NE at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 25 days.

She was united in marriage in 1936 to Ray Nixon and together they had three children, Irvin, Raymond, Jr. and Gladys. After Ray's death, she met and married Bernard Kraenow on October 8, 1969 in Syracuse, Nebraska.

Marie worked and retired from Pendelton's in Nebraska City. In her spare time, she enjoyed needle work, bingo, Nebraska Football, NASCAR and Wrestling.

She is survived by her Children: Irvin Nixon and wife Fran of Darien, WI; Raymond Nixon, Jr. and wife Pat of Omaha, NE; Gladys Hauschild and husband Kenneth of Nehawka, NE; 17 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was [receded in death by her Parents, husbands, Ray Nixon and Bernard Kraenow, 9 Brothers and Sisters.

Funeral Services will be Monday, July 30th at 10:00 A.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse, NE with Pastor Sharron Morrow officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 28th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Sunday, July 29th from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse.
