Marie A. Stubbendeck, 98 of Unadilla, passed away on April 23, 2019 at the Syracuse Area Health Hospital. She was born on March 26, 1921 to Guy & Lillian (Kunz) Kimbell on their farm near Elmwood.

She married Otto Stubbendeck on August 2, 1939 at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch). Marie enjoyed quilting, sewing and sharing stories over a good meal.

Marie is survived by her Children: Kathryn (Edward) Vader, Don (Aida) Stubbendeck, Janis (Clint) Johnson, Daryl Stubbendeck, Loren Stubbendeck, Clark Stubbendeck, Roger Stubbendeck; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sons: Gayle & Bill Stubbendeck, 1 Brother and 2 Sisters.

Funeral service: Friday, April 26 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch) in rural Avoca.

Visitation: Thursday, April 25 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Home, Syracuse, NE.

Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran Church (North Branch) or Unadilla Rescue Squad.
