Marlene M. Lowery, 88 passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln, Ne.

She was beautiful and so naturally classy, a breath of fresh air. She carried herself with dignity. Always so well put together.  She worked at the Lincoln Country Club for 25 plus years as the hostess and party planner. Organizing and overseeing a team of servers.  After retirement she filled her days with making family memories.  Watching her orioles and hummingbirds, listening to her little wrens sing. She loved planting flowers, growing tomatoes and cucumbers. She was adored by all who knew her, she was ours. Our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, friend and co-worker.  She will be missed.

Marlene is survived by her daughter Debra Rich of Syracuse, Ne. Grandsons Justin (Amber) Rich, Stuart Dickhute, Grant Dickhute, Kody Rich and Tayler Rich all of Lincoln. Great Granddaughters Mila, Payton and Lilly.
Along with her Sister, Judy (Gene) Micari of Columbus, Ne. Brother, Lee Policky of Kokomo, In.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends she considered as her family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Norman Dickhute and Patrick Lowery, her son, Alan Dickhute, parents Adolph and Julia Policky, sister Patricia (Patsy) Ferrara and brother Frances (Frank) Policky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at the St. Paulinus Church in Syracuse, with Rev. Ryan Salisbury officiating. Please join the family for food and refreshments following the mass from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
