Melda Sudman, 93 of Syracuse, passed away on April 26, 2019 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on August 2, 1925 to H. August & Edith (Poppe) Niemann near Cook. Melda married Harvey Sudman on June 1, 1947 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage).

Melda worked on the farm alongside Harvey. She was active in church and was also a 4-H leader. Melda also enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her Sons: Terry (Gloria) Sudman, Dalyce (Kristy) Sudman; Daughter: Jill Brenning; Grandchildren: Melissa (Matthew) Bruce, Rebecca (Ben) Bauman, Wesley (Taryn) Sudman, Chris (Alissa) Brenning, Andrea (Adam) Gullion, Brandon (Staci) Brenning, Corey Sudman, Dylan Sudman; Step Granddaughters: Ashley Gillespie, Heather Teten; 13 Great Grandchildren; 4 Step Great Grandchildren; Sister: Lucille Kreifels; Sister-in-law: Sally Niemann; Brother-in-law: Bob Rutledge.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Daughter: Camille Ann Sudman; Infant Son: Thomas Lynn Sudman; Infant Great Grandson: Justin Bruce; Son-in-law: Brad Brenning and Brother: Eldred Niemann.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, May 1 ^st at 11 A.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) in rural Cook. Burial will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery (Osage).

Visitation: Tuesday, April 30 ^th from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
