Michael was born on November 30, 1943, to Walter Clinton and Sarah Ruth (Spry) Cardinal. He went home on May 5, 2014, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, Nebraska, at the age of 70 years, 5 months, and 5 days.

Michael married Margaret (Peggy), and to this union they raised 6 children, Michael Jr., Connie, Deanna, Christina, Brandy and Bethany. He loved his family friends, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Winnie Cardinal of Idaho Falls, ID, son Michael Jr. of Otoe, NE, daughters Connie Hernandez and Deanna Blankenship of Phoenix, AZ, Tina Cardinal of Midland, TX, Brandy Allen of Topeka, KS and Bethany Meyer of Mayetta, KS, also 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Michael's "Life Celebration" will be Saturday, May 17th at 1:00 P.M. at the Light House Community Church, 2613 "N" Street, Auburn, Nebraska.

There will be no visitation or viewing due to the donation of the body to the Anatomical Society.

The family request memorials in lieu of flowers to the family for later designation.
