Mila Jean Pache, a beautiful and indomitable spirit, was born on October 16, 2025, at 9:29 pm weighing 5 pounds 13 ounces and measuring 18.2 inches long, in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at the tender age of 13 days. Though her time with us was all too brief, Mila's impact on the lives of those who loved her will resonate for years to come.

Mila was a miracle in every sense of the word. Her name, which translates to "miracle" in many languages, fittingly captured her essence and the joy she brought to her family. "Jean," meaning "God's gracious one," reflected the grace and love that enveloped her during her short life., Mila showcased a fierce determination, embodying the spirit of a true diva and a stubborn fighter. She was truly God's gracious miracle.

From her very first moments, Mila was surrounded by a loving community of family, friends, and caregivers who prayed fervently for her well-being. Despite facing the challenges of an extremely rare congenital heart defect, she lived and thrived in the embrace of love. Her intelligence and spark shone through, capturing the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Mila is survived by her loving parents Taylor and Dana Pache, grandparents Russ and Lori Gray, Gene and Didi Pache, great-grandmother Karen Gray and great-grandfather Bob Elman, as well as her cherished aunts and uncles Kelsey (Jordan) Swenson, Joshua (Maddie) Gray and Trent (Victoria) Pache along with cousins, Jett and Chase Swenson and Kate Gray.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Stephen Pache, great grandparents, George Gray, Kenny & JoAnn Petereit, Dottie Paulsen, Audrey Pache and Eugene Pache, Sr.

A private family celebration of Mila's life will be held.
