Mildred L. Beckmann, 93, of Syracuse, NE, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Center. She was born on February 9, 1933, to Elvis and Virginia (Colson) Johnson in Pawnee City, NE. Mildred married Merlin Beckmann on December 19, 1948.

Mildred was a loyal employee of Campbell Soup for many years. She was also a lover of bowling, square dancing, butter and Walmart!

Mildred is survived by her children Karen (Tom) Schlack of Merriman, NE, Jerry (Pat) Beckmann of Elmwood, NE, Dale (Mary) Beckmann of Avoca, NE, Todd (Joy) Beckmann of El Dorado, KS, Kevin (Jerri) Beckmann of Syracuse, NE. Mildred was also blessed with 52 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Merlin, sisters Lucy, Sandy and Doris, brothers Wayne and Elvis, sons Roy and Jeff and daughter-in-law Joyce Beckman.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 10:30 a.m. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse. A graveside service will follow at the Pawnee City Cemetery at 11:45 a.m.
