Obituary
Myron L. Hollenbeck Sr. was born on November 1, 1946 in Lincoln, NE to Don & Esther (Dreezsen) Hollenbeck. He passed away at home on September 30, 2011 at the age of 64 years 10 months and 30 days.
Myron married Karen Williamson on August 12, 1969 in Lincoln, NE and to this union they had two sons J.R. and Heath. He worked on his farm for many years. Myron was on the Rural Fire Department Board and the NRD Board. He enjoyed watching Husker sports games and watching his grandchildren participate in sports.
Myron is survived by Wife Karen Hollenbeck, 2 Sons J.R. & wife Marcy Hollenbeck and children Emie, Olivia, Ethan, Heath & wife Kirsten and children Hannah, Cassidy, Payton, Case, Elias Brother Arlan & wife Sue Hollenbeck and children Ryan, Joel Sister Cheryl & husband Charles Vesely and son Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donnie.
Graveside service will be on Wednesday October 5, 2010 at the Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood, NE at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Tom Rempel officiating. Lunch and fellowship will be at 11:30 A.M. at the Faith Bible Church, 6201 S. 84th St. Lincoln, NE.
Pallbearers will be Rich Hosek, Benny Mason, Kenny Kunz, Dale Kunz, Billy Little, and Dave Drevo.
Memorials may be directed to the Elmwood Fire & Rescue.
