Nola K. Herman, 74, of Lincoln, formerly of Unadilla, passed away on October 23, 2025, at The Grace Space in Lincoln. She was born on June 23, 1951, in Nebraska City, to Willard and Leola (Werner) Mohlman.

Nola graduated from Syracuse High School in the class of 1969. She was united in marriage to Tim West in 1971, and they shared many years together until his passing in 1992. In 1997, she married Bruce Herman, and they enjoyed life together until he passed away in 2012.

Over the years, Nola worked at several different jobs including operating an in-home daycare, bookkeeper for Tim's Auto Body Shop, serving as a waitress and spent 25 years with the Nebraska Book Company, where she stocked the books.

Nola enjoyed the simple pleasures in life — reading, doing word finds and crosswords, relaxing at home, spending time with her family, and enjoying an afternoon Coors Light.

She is survived by her daughters, Jodie (Dean) Valish, Karla (Seth) Cross, and Abby (Mike) Snodgrass; grandchildren Kelsie (Jack) Olsson, Halie Valish, Mason Valish, Timmy Burkman, Brody Burkman, Jessa Cross, and Zander Snodgrass; great-grandson Miles Olsson; sister Linda Ross; brother-in-law Bill Timblin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Tim & Bruce; sister, Betty Timblin; and son-in-law, Travis Burkman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 1:00 p.m. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Unadilla Cemetery.
