Nora J. Snyder, 81 of Unadilla, passed away on September 10, 2018 in Nebraska City. She was born on April 15, 1937 to Clyde & Ellen (Severs) Applegate in Auburn, NE.

Nora married Edgar Snyder on January 23, 1957 at the Christian Church in Peru. She worked for 25 years as a nurse aide at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. Nora enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She also had a great love for animals.

She is survived by her Children: Wayne (Julie) Snyder of Syracuse, Theresa (Don) Hawley of Paul, David (Tina) Snyder of Nebraska City, and Rhonda Snyder of Unadilla; Sisters: Elma Schell & Carol Parker both of Auburn; Grandchildren: Danny Childers of Maryville, KS, Jennifer Snyder of Syracuse, Matt Snyder of Lincoln, Trevor (Sheena) Snyder of Unadilla, Lacie Snyder of Syracuse, Kimberly Snyder of Syracuse, and McKenzie Snyder, of Nebraska City; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Edgar, daughter: Cheryl Snyder, brother: Donald Applegate, sister: Norma Applegate and grandchildren: Gunner & Sierra Snyder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14 at 10:30 A.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel in Syracuse. Burial will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery (Osage).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 7-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to Hearts United in Auburn, NE.
