Norma R. Jones age 105 of Lincoln, NE. passed away on March 22, 2023 at the Ambassdor Care Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.  She was born on August 22, 1917 in Weeping Water, Nebraska to Fred M. & Amanda (Gustin) Garrison.

Norma was united in marriage to John L. Jones on February 25, 1936 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.  Together they raised six children, Patsy, Judy, Donna, Amanda, John & Terry.   Throughout her life she and John owned and operated a variety of restaurants including the Wig Wam restaurant in Weeping Water.  She was a wonderful cook and baker which led her to also work in the Gold's Department Store in Lincoln and doing catering for the 1st Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden, caring for her flowers, she also enjoyed traveling including many trips to Branson.  She was active for many years at the Waverly United Methodist Church, volunteering at the Waverly Care Center and attending a variety of club luncheons.  She was an avid bingo, bunco and domino player.

Survived by children, Patsy Kirkman, Lawrence, KS, Judy (Doug) Weber, Lincoln, NE, John (Vanee) Jones, Elkhorn, NE, Donna (Kenny) Little, Springfield, MO, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Amanda Garrison, husband, John Jones, children, Terry Jones & Amanda Adair, 9 brothers & sisters.

Funeral Services, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 10:30 AM - Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home, Weeping Water, NE with Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.

Burial will follow the services in Oakwood Cemetery in Weeping Water.

Memorials may be directed to to St. Judes.
