Norma I. LaFollette, 92 of Syracuse was born on October 29, 1924 in Burr, NE to Elmer & Minnie (Pahde) Moss. She passed away on January 1, 2017 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center.

Norma married Calvin LaFollette on March 9, 1946 in Marysville, KS. She worked as a packer at Wheaton Tubing for 28 years. Norma was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary, and was also very active in the United Methodist Church and the community. She enjoyed Nebraska sports and the Kansas City Royals. Norma loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her Daughter: Diana (Keith) Eloge; Son: Jerry (Sheri) LaFollette; Grandchildren: Peter Eloge, Jason (Jessica) LaFollette, Travis LaFollette, Tyler LaFollette & fiancé Krisa, Mike (Terri) Walker, Jennifer Walker; 7 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Kenny (Corianne) Moss, Delmer (Eileen) Moss, Delores Stoner; Son-in-law: Don (Cindy) Walker; Sisters-in-law: Kathy Moss, Marilyn Moss; Brother-in-law: Ned Snyder; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Daughter: Sandy Walker; Siblings: Jean Schulte, Harold Moss, Fritz Moss, Karen Snyder, Jim Moss; Brothers-in-law: Elmer Schulte, Bob Stoner.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3 ^th from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Syracuse United Methodist Church building fund.
