Oneida E. Turner, 93 of Lincoln formerly of Cook, passed away on May 17, 2017 at her home in Lincoln. She was born on June 12, 1923 to Ben & Mary (Homier) Spanjer in Burr. Oneida married Robert A. Turner on March 23, 1941 in Cook.

Oneida was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, American Legion Aux. and was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters: Judith Turner (Perley) Boucher of Lincoln, Roberta (Burk) Renner of Memphis, TN, Linda (Clinton) Lowe of Lincoln; grandchildren: Nicole (Chintan) Desai, Mark (Jess) Richardson, Todd (Lindsey) Richardson, Adam (Erin) Renner; 5 ½ great grandchildren; 2 grand dogs: Bernice & Toby; best friend: Jean Strope; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Evelyn Gerking & Marcella Humber.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Cook. Burial will be at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church.
