Pansy was born July 11, 1922 in Unadilla, Nebraska, to John and Matilda (Blank) Dreeszen. She passed away, Friday June 18, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center, Syracuse, NE at the age of 87 years, 11 months, and 7 days.

Pansy married Irvin Conkel on February 11, 1942, in Tecumseh, NE and to this union they raised 4 sons Kenneth, Mike, Jeffery, and Jerry. She worked as a substitute Post Master in Burr, for many years. Pansy loved bowling and taking trips to Florida and Hawaii.

Pansy is survived by her son Irvin (Mike) and wife Linda Conkel of Syracuse, NE, Jerry and wife Chrissy Conkel, of Lincoln, NE, daughter-in-law Melanie Conkel, grandchildren Kristi White, Lindsey Conkel, Kurtis Conkel, and Karri Henderson, great grandchildren Oliver White, Dayn Henderson, Logan Henderson, Laci Henderson.

Pansy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Irvin, sons Kenneth & Jeffrey, sister Fern Clary.

Funeral Services will be Monday, June 21st at 2 p.m. at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, South of Unadilla, Nebraska, with burial at the Church Cemetery. Family suggest memorials to the families choice.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 20, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., with the family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home, and Monday, June 21, from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. and the casket will be open one hour before services at the Church
