Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Manley. Rosary will be Tuesday, July 6th at 7:00 PM at the Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1-5 at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Weeping Water, NE. Memorials are designated to the Murdock Fire Department and Fairview Cemetery in Papillion. Patricia Jean (Platt) Becker was born on September 5, 1952 in Omaha to Frank and Bernadette Platt. She passed away on July 3, 2010 after a brave battle with cancer. Patricia graduated from Murdock High School in 1971. She married Charles Becker on June 29, 1996 in Louisville. She worked at Wheaton's in Syracuse, NE for over 30 years. Patricia enjoyed gardening, baking, tending to her flowers, taking her nieces and nephews on special vacations, and spending time with dear friends.

She is survived by husband Charles Becker of Murdock, stepdaughter Kaylan Becker and step granddaughter Praline of Omaha, brothers - Herman (Susan), Dennis (Kathy), Donald, Kevin (LouAnn) and Daniel (Ruth), all of Murdock; Sister – Karen Williams (Gene) of Omaha; sister-in-law Debra Cosson (Bub) of Murdock; aunts – Edith Walker of Louisville, Barbara Kresl (Don) of Weston; uncle – Bernard (Cecilia) Bruning of Red Oak, IA; many nieces and nephews, as well as many wonderful friends, neighbors, and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by parents – Frank and Bernadette Platt, brother Tom Platt, sister-in-law Jeannie Platt and nephew Michael Platt.
