Patricia "Pat" R. Desh, 84 of Palmyra, passed away March 30, 2018 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1934 to William Fred & Mary Francis (Eaton) Hill in Percival, IA.

Pat married Robert "Bob" Desh on May 3, 1952 in Shenandoah, IA. She was a school bus driver for many years and also worked as a cook at UNL. Pat was a member of the Palmyra American Legion Aux. and was a faithful member of the Palmyra Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed Nebraska sports and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her Sons: Robert (Barbara) Desh, Bill Desh, Bryan (Diana) Desh; Daughter: Kay (Allen) Steinmeyer, Grandchildren: Kerry (Gregg) Lathrop, Christopher (Tina) Desh, Angela (Ben) Modrell, Brandon (Vicki) Desh, Trevor (Heidi) Steinmeyer, Andrew (Beth) Steinmeyer, Bret Desh, Samantha Desh, Dena Lorenson, Devan Lorenson; Great Grandchildren: Ian Lathrop, Jaylon Steinmeyer, Riley Steinmeyer, Paisley Steinmeyer, Ella Desh, Austin Steinmeyer, Jackson Steinmeyer, Grace Steinmeyer, Joslynn Modrell, Keely Desh, Louis Desh and Brother-in-law: Ron (Kathy) Green.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister & brother-in-law: Lilli & Max Cupp and sisters-in-law: Mary Clemens & Joan Green.

Funeral services will be held on Wed. April 4 at 10 A.M. at the Palmyra Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. at the Grandview Cemetery in rural Sidney, IA.

Memorials are suggested to the Palmyra Presbyterian Church.

Visitation will be held on Wed. April 4 with family greeting friends from 9-10 A.M. at the church.
