Patti Petersen was born on September 7, 1949 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Clarence, Jr. and Dorothy (Zahn) Petersen. She departed this life on Friday, December 28, 2007 at her home near St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 58 years, 3 months and 21 days.

Ms. Petersen was raised in the Syracuse and Nebraska City area and has resided in the St. Louis area for many years. She was a member of the Board of Directors of GHP (Group Health Plan) of Greater St. Louis, the Board of Directors of the Central West End Association and the Board of Directors of the Lucerne Condo Association. She was also a member of the St. Louis Business Women's Book Club and worked with the Central West End House Tours as well as volunteering for numerous other charitable organizations.

She is survived by her parents, Dorothy and Clarence Petersen, Jr. of Nebraska City, NE; brother, Randall Petersen and wife Joni of Syracuse, NE; sister, Lori Hilligas and husband Craig of Lincoln, NE; nieces, Amanda Dutton and husband Dan, Rachel Cleveland and husband Tim, Lindsey Gutierrez and husband Dick, one great niece, cousins and many firends.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 4th at 10:30 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church (Delaware) in rural Syracuse, NE with Rev. Doug Allen officiating.

Interment will be in the Christ Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Missouri.
