Paul Leonard Stander was born October 3, 1933, in rural Weeping Water, NE to
Andrew V. & Pauline M. (Palecek) Stander. He died October 19, 2011, at the
Louisville Care Center


He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Paul L. Jr., his sister Rose
Mary (Herman) Bergmann, his brothers Leo Herbert, Harold, and Kenneth Stander.
In-laws, Raymond & Mary Eileen (Carper) Hebert. He is survived by his wife of 51
yrs, Joyce A. (Hebert) Stander, his daughters, Diane Vice, of Weeping Water, NE,
Margaret Stander, of Lincoln, NE, his sons, James, of Murdock, Charles, and
Donald, both of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren, Alex and Katie Vice, of Weeping
Water, NE, sisters Doris Howard, of Wheaton, IL, Patricia (Donald) Templemeyer,
Carroll, IA, brother, Andrew (Patricia) Stander, of Weeping Water, NE,
sisters-in-law Angela Stander, of Omaha, Catherine Stander, and Marianne
Stander, of Louisville, NE along with many nieces and nephews and other
relatives and friends.


Paul was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Manley, NE, and a 30yr
member of Murdock Lions Club. He worked for 37 years at Ash Grove Cement Plant,
Louisville, NE, and was a member of the Armed Forces in Korea.


Funeral Mass will be Monday, October 24, 2011, at 10:30 A. M. at St. Patrick's
Catholic Church, Manley, Nebraska, with burial at St. Patrick's Catholic
Cemetery. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 7:00 P.M., at the
Church. Memorials will are suggested to the Families Choice.


Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.,
and Sunday from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., all at the Funeral Home.
