Quentin B. Severe was born on January 3, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Merle H. and Nina (Rodaway) Severe. He passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Eastmont Towers in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 11 days.
He was raised in the Syracuse area and graduated from Syracuse High School in 1968. He also obtained a Associates Degree in Electronics. He was employed as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician with Tennco in Lincoln, Nebraska. In his spare time, he was an Antique dealer, enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and was an avid Motorcycle Rider. He was a member of the Handy Man's Club.
He is survived by his Daughters: Amy Severe of Nebraska City, NE; Audrea Severe of Bennet, NE; 2 Grandchildren: Janakia Chaney & Giovanni Severe. Brother: Rick Severe and wife Pam of Greenwood, NE: Sister: Bernita Schwarze and husband Bob of Richmond, VA; Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother: Dallas Severe
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Syracuse with Rev. Tony Dawson officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rosewood Cemetery in Palmyra, Nebraska.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16th from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
