Ralph N. Straube, 93 of Burr, passed away April 29, 2017 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. He was born to Theodore & Pauline (Benson) Straube on June 15, 1923 in rural Burr. Ralph married Frieda Buss on March 8, 1953 at the American Lutheran Church in Adams.

Ralph farmed by Burr and enjoyed looking at old and new cars and farm equipment. His greatest love was music. He sang for many wedding and funerals and also had played several instruments.

He is survived by his Children: Lyle (Tamrah) Straube, Joyce (Stephen) Hickman, Doris (Jim) Mannison, Lee (Genny) Straube, Jim Straube, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Granddaughter, Sister: Norma (Willie) Harms, Brothers-in-law: Willard (Pauline) Buss, Calvin Prange, Orville (Bev) Buss, Sister-in-law: Lee (Ray) Delka, Brother-in-law: Norman (Phyllis) Buss and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph is preceded in death by his Wife: Frieda, Parents: Theodore & Pauline Straube, Brother and Sister in law, Melvin and Aggie Straube, Parents-in-law: Henry & Grace Buss, Brother-in-law: Laverne Buss, Sister-in-law: Luella Prange, Brother-in-law: Larry Buss, 1 Great Grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hope Lutheran Church in Burr. No viewing at church due to private family burial.

Memorials are suggested to the Family's Choice.
