Obituary
Ralph W. Tipken, 86 of Unadilla, NE passed away on June 26, 2014 in Lincoln, NE. He was born on November 21, 1927 to John & Frieda (Ross) Tipken in Otoe, NE.
Ralph married June Gess on November 16, 1956 in Nebraska City, NE. Ralph served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked at Northern Natural and also Wheatons in Syracuse. Ralph was a member of VFW Post #5547, American Legion Post #100 and the Masonic Lodge in Syracuse. He enjoyed farming and playing cards.
Ralph is survived by his Wife: June; Son: John (Vicki) Tipken of Eagle; Grandchildren: Christina Tipken & Andrew Tipken both of Lincoln; Sisters: Irene (Edward) Wallace of Omaha, LaVerta Thummel of Otoe, also many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and Son: Joel.
Memorial Services will be held on July 1 at 11 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Unadilla, NE.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 30 from 9 A.M. until 8 P.M. with family greeting friends from 7-8 P.M. at the funeral home. No viewing due to cremation.
