Richard "Dick" L. Crofton, 85 of Louisville, passed away January 22, 2013, at Bergen Mercy Hospital with family by his side. Richard was born, September 3, 1927 in Dorchester, NE to Vernon & Katie Crofton. Retired cement finisher and restaurateur. Worked many years at Kiewitt Constr. Co. and owner of Hi-Vu Café, Crofton's Restaurant and Crofton Construction Co. Dick was a member of Mason's and Platers Union #518.

Richard is survived by his wife of 37 years, JoAnn, sister Pat Mills, of Little Rock, AR, Shirley Asmus, of Yuma, CO, and sister-in-law Jan Crofton, of Fremont, NE, step-daughter and husband Sandy & Jerry Latham, step-sons Randy & Becky Hansen, Eldon & Sandy Hansen, and Bob Hansen, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and very special friend, Stephanie Hansen. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale and grandson Joshua Hansen.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, 222 Walnut Street, Louisville, NE, with memorials to the Louisville Senior Center, or Weeping Water Senior Center.

Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
