Richard E Wilson Jr (Rick) was born 1/29/1959 in Nebraska City to Richard & Ruby Wilson. He was the 1 st of 4 boy, brothers to Ron, Robert, and Roger.

Many shenanigans were had by these Wilson brothers. Playing football in the yard, attempting to repair Roger's fractured arm by "pulling on it", riding motorcycles and giving their Mother Ruby many frightening moments.

Rick attended Weeping Water School & graduated in 1977. He was active in all sports including summer baseball, football, basketball, wrestling & track. He also played fast pitch softball for several years with the Town Tap Team. When he wasn't doing farm chores or playing sports, he loved working on cars to see how fast they would run.

Rick married Barb in 1977 to this union Brandy and Ryan were born. Later he married Shelly in 1999 & gained a stepson Ian.

Rick enjoyed his 7 grandchildren: Levi (Sarah), Madison, Alexis, and Brooklyn Ahrens, Reba, Raelyn & Riggs Wilson and great grandbaby Luella Ahrens. He made many memories with his kids & grandkids, attending their sports activities, school activities, a Disney trip, sleigh riding behind the ranger, tubing at the lake, riding the mechanical animals at the mall and test-driving Camaro's, playing dress up, being their model for make-up, facials and manicures and trying on ALL the hats at Claires.

Rick was a great welder and had a knack for fixing any broken piece of equipment that came into his shop. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his new employees. When Rick wasn't busy running R&R Wilson Welding & Trucking, he loved doing dirt work. He was the happiest when he was in his dozer or skid loader. He loved visiting with his kids and catching up on their lives. This year when he became ill the visits were fewer because he was trying to stay healthy, so he became the king of texting and TikToks.

Rick entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2022. He is survived by his wife Shelly, children Brandy Ahrens, Ryan (Amanda) Wilson and stepson Ian Bickford. Grandchildren Levi (Sarah) Ahrens, Madison, Alexis & Brooklyn Ahrens, Reba, Raelyn & Riggs Wilson, great granddaughter, Luella Ahrens, brothers, Ron (Sherri) Wilson, Rob (Linda) Wilson, Roger (Sherri) Wilson, mother-in-law, Sharon Sheehan, sister-in-law, Renee (Wes) Redden, brothers-in-law, Rocky (Linda) Sheehan, Russ (Linda ) Sheehan, many nieces, nephews and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Ruby Wilson and father-in-law, Jerry Sheehan.
