Richard "Rich" Giles Sr. age 75, of Cedar Creek, NE, passed away on January 29, 2014.

He was born to Martin and Helen Giles on February 20, 1938 in Omaha, NE.

Rich married Dorothy Valla on July 26, 1958 in Omaha, NE.

Rich is survived by his wife Dorothy Giles of Cedar Creek, NE, children Linda (Rich) Duff, of Cedar Creek, NE, Debbie (Bob) Derby, of Louisville, NE, Connie (Guy) Ern, of Cedar Creek, NE, Susie (Don) Colbert, of Weeping Water, NE, Richie Jr. and wife Dawn, of Cedar Creek, NE,

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lorraine
Kovac and Katie Mills, brother-in-laws Bill, Bob, Don and John Valla, Jerome Kovac and Don Mills, sister-in-law Delores Giles and granddaughter Danielle "Dani" Derby.

Visitation with viewing will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 from noon until 9:00 P.M. with the family at the Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. to greet friends.

There will be a Private Family Burial before the Celebration of Life. The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cass County Fair Grounds at Hwy 1 and 144th Street, Weeping Water, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Family for designation.
