Richard F. Pratt, 89 of Elmwood, passed away on December 31, 2017 in Lincoln. He was born on February 26, 1928 to Arlo F. & Vera D. (Dernier) Pratt in Lincoln.

Richard attended 2 years of Agriculture college at UNL. On February 20, 1949 he married Frances Ellen Arnold at the United Methodist Church in Elmwood. He worked as a farmer his whole life. Richard served in the Army and was also a member of the Freemasons, Eastern Star, American Legion and Independent Order of the Odd Fellows. He served on the Cass County Coop and Church board.

He is survived by hisChildren: Janet (Robert) Medcalf; Bruce (Peggy) Pratt; Joann (Dave) Anton, Judy (Scott) Roberts; 5 grandchildren; one great grandchild; his very loving sister Marion (Robert) Eilers of San Diego, and their daughter Ann and nephew Wes Hauschild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Frances and niece: Mirium "Mimi" Hauschild.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Elmwood cemetery at 10:30 A.M. Church services will be held at 11 A.M. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood.

Visitation will be Friday, January 5 from 12 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Home, Elmwood, NE.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood.
