Ricky Swanson was born Febraury 17, 1963, in Bellevue, Nebraska, to Robert & JoAnn (Egr) Swanson. He passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at VA Regional Hospital, in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 46 years, 11 months, and 11 days.

Ricky married Debra Krogh, on July 6, 1991, in Elkhorn, Nebraska, and to this union they raised Ricky Jessa, and Gage. He was a member of the Mid-Otoe County VFW #5547, of Syracuse, NE, Otoe Town Board, he enjoyed Camping, Hiking, playing with his kids and being with family, rock climbing, canoeing, spending summer evenings on the patio with friends & friends, computer networking, computer technology and home Remodeling projects.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 30th from Noon until 9:00 P.M., Sunday, January 31st from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a ROSARY to be held Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 644 Park Street, Syracuse, NE. The Casket will be Open One Hour before Church Services.

Funeral Services will be Monday, February 1st, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church, 863 5th Street, Syracuse, Nebraska, with burial at Park Hill Cemetery, Syracuse, Nebraska. The family suggest Memorials to Mid-Otoe County VFW #5547, of Syracuse, Nebraska.
