Rita Lyn (Reed) Nickolson age 66 of Louisville, Nebraska  passed away suddenly at her home in Louisville on Monday, July 25, 2022.  She was born on December 20, 1955 to Melvin and Alice (Tennant) Reed.

She was united in marriage to Franklin "Nick" Nickolson on October 24, 1975 and t ogether they had three children Duaine, Casey and Michele.  Rita had a big heart to help anyone that needed it, she did a lot of volunteer work with her community.  She always looked forward to doing things with her family and her animals.  She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her special friend, Larry Scott, children, Duaine (Michelle), Casey, and Michele (Ryan), 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mona Payne and Dian Halterman.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Franklin "Nick" Nickolson, brother, Gary Reed, two brother-in-laws, Richard Payne and Kenneth Halterman.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
