Robert "Bob" James Schwartman, 89 of Lincoln, formerly of Unadilla was born January 18, 1928 in Unadilla to Fred & Lorene (Sewell) Schwartman. He passed away on December 15, 2017 at the Lancaster Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln.

Bob graduated from the Unadilla high school and worked as a farmer in the Unadilla area, raising cattle and pigs. He later worked and retired from Kawasaki. He loved to polka dance, being in card clubs and reading westerns.

He is survived by his Children: Judy (Frank) Turner, Sharon (Jon) Van Housen, Kevin (Kathy) Schwartman, Karla (John) Banister, Jim (Lisa) Schwartman; Step Children: Cindy (Dan) Smith, Jenny (Kevin) Schmeiding, Becky Detore, Vicki Smith, Marcie Garnett, Penny Smith, David (Kelli) Smith; Step Son-in Law: Jim Kemerling; 13 Grandchildren, 13 Step Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 14 Step Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Great Great Granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Step Daughter: Deb Kemerling, Granddaughter: Mickie Lynn Whitehead, Step Granddaughter: Tara Stark, Step Great Granddaughter: Nickie Stark and Step Sons-in-Law: Dan Detore & Vel Garnett.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Unadilla. Burial will be at the Unadilla cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18 from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
