Robert L. Lewis, 71 of Tecumseh, passed away on Monday September 12, 2016 at the Auburn Good Samaritan Center. He was born on March 10, 1945 to Edward Lewis & Margaret Montey in Superior, NE.

Robert married Deloris A. Behrens on September 2, 1972 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Lincoln. He was a member of St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Oblates of St. Benedict.

He is survived by his Wife: Deloris Lewis of Tecumseh; Sons: Edward (Candi) Lewis of Norfolk, David (Deb) Lewis of Cook; Daughters: Nancy (Nate) Chandler-Smith of Ankeny, IA, Mary (Eric) Venteicher of Pierce; 10 Grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Margaret (Behrens) Tvrdy; 3 Nephews; also many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: George & Mary (Royal) Behrens, Brother-in-law: Bernard Tvrdy.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 16 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 9 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home, then at church with family greeting friends from 5:30 until time of Rosary at 7 P.M.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designations.
