Robert B. Pfeiffer, 86 of Dunbar, passed away on Thursday August 21, 2014 at the Saunders House in Wahoo, NE. He was born on July 23, 1928 in Eustis, NE to Oscar & Edna (Boss) Pfeiffer.

Robert served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Dorothy Urban on September 30, 1954 and to this union they had 3 sons. Robert worked in education with his most of his time spent at the ESU #4 in Auburn as a media specialist. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church where he served on various boards. He also served on the town board and as the mayor of Dunbar.

Robert is survived by his Wife; Dorothy, Sons; Martin (Diana) Pfeiffer, of Wahoo, NE, Shane Pfeiffer, of New York, Grandchildren; Kaitlyn (Kyle) Cooper, Kali Pfeiffer, Maxwell Pfeiffer, Mattison Pfeiffer, Gentry Pfeiffer, Niger Pfeiffer, Addie Pfeiffer, Great Granddaughter; Amzie Cooper, Brother; William Pfeiffer

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Son: Tyler Pfeiffer, Brothers: Oscar & Bryce Pfeiffer

Services will be held on Monday August 25, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the Dunbar Presbyterian Church in Dunbar, NE.

Burial will be at Dunbar Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 24 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to: Christ Lutheran Church in Nebraska City.
