Robert worked at Martin Marietta as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Survived by Mary Sliger and his children Marcia and Don Scheinost, of Syracuse, NE, Ann and Brian Guenther, of West Point, NE, Paul and Cheryl Sliger, of Syracuse, NE, and Susan and Lonnie Obermeyer, of Syracuse, NE, grandchildren, and great grandchildren sisters, Irene Tuttle, and Verna Nell
Preceded in Death By: his parents Herbert & Emily Sliger, brothers Ern Sliger, John Sliger, sisters Doris Cline, great grandson Skylar Maule Houston, and step granddaughter Amanda Scheinost
Date and Hour of Funeral: Thursday, January 23, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel, 644 Park Street, Syracuse, Nebraska. Family suggests memorials to Families Choice.
No visitation or viewing due to cremation.
