Obituary

Robert L. Spaeth, 74 of Syracuse, passed away on June 6, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1943 to Joseph L. & Cathern (Mott) Spaeth in Manitowoc, WI. Bob married Lael Herdina on June 15, 1963 in Reifs Mills, WI.

Bob worked as an electrician for many years including for the city of Syracuse and Bryan East hospital in Lincoln. He was a 4 th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus, and past member of the Lions Club. Bob also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, traveling, reading and collecting Jim Beam bottles.

He is survived by his Wife: Lael Spaeth of Syracuse; Children: Penny Spaeth, David (Robyn) Spaeth; Grandchildren: Cole Spaeth & Sarah Spaeth all of Lincoln; Siblings: Carole Pick & Joanne Spaeth.

Bob was preceded in death by his Parents, Siblings: Gerald Spaeth & Cheryl Duvall.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 9 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 8 with family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church with the Rosary starting at 7 P.M.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paulinus Catholic Church.
