Robert Lee Wilson was born on June 6, 1939 in Union, Nebraska to William K. and Agnes (Ervin) Wilson. He passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009 at his home in Unadilla, Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 4 days.

Robert graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1957. Soon after graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp serving his country until being honorably discharged in 1960. He later met Shirley Schomerus and they were united in marriage on July 27, 1962 in Auburn, Nebraska. Robert worked on the Assembly Line at Avaya in Omaha for many years.

He is survived by his wife: Shirley Wilson of Unadilla, NE; daughters: Terri Bubke and husband Steve of Omaha, NE: Julie Wilson of Unadilla, NE; son: Michael Wilson and Jennifer Zimmerman of Omaha, NE: grandchildren: Jesse & Megan Bubke of Omaha, NE; Brianna & Brody Wilson of Omaha, NE; sister: Thelma Anderson and husband Jim of Yutan, NE: brother: Melvin Wilson and wife Effie of Omaha, NE; sister: Ruby Loftis of Omaha. mother-in-law: Lois Schomerus of Syracuse, NE. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, step-mother, Lorene Wilson, daughter, Cynthia Wilson Hawkins, granddaughter, Ashlee Rae Bubke, father-in-law, Ervin Schomerus.
