Robin R. Maestle, 57 of Syracuse, passed away on July 4, 2022, in Omaha. She was born on June 10, 1965, in Nebraska City. Robin married Joseph Maestle on May 15, 2008, in Nebraska City.

Robin worked for Werner Trucking until her cancer diagnosis in September of 2018. She then completely focused on being a loving wife, mother and taking care of her family. She enjoyed fishing and hunting and sharing many lunches with her mom and sister. She will be remembered for all the love she shared and her unselfishness.

She is survived by her husband Joe Maestle of Syracuse; mother Rose Dankleff of Syracuse; father Arlen (Joann) Michel of Avoca; children Joshua Maestle of Lincoln, Philip (Shona) Wiens of Omaha, Sarah (Andrew) Stuart of Plattsmouth, Michaela Wiens & fiancé Jordan Kemmerling of Omaha; grandchildren Lana, Lydia & Elijah Wiens, Oliver & Henry Stuart; sister Dawn Michel of Nebraska City; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and stepfather Gary Dankleff.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. The service will be livestreamed on the Luther Memorial Church, NE YouTube page.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
