Roby D. Lamb was born on January 23, 1933 in North Platte, Nebraska to Fred R. and Nina M. (Carey) Lamb. He passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 16 days.

He was united in marriage on July 8, 1960 to Colleen F. Kastens at First Lutheran Church, North Branch in Rural Avoca, Nebraska. Together they raised four children, Susan, Kevin, Kurtis and Keri. He worked at Lucent Technologies until retiring in 1990. Outside of work, he enjoye thoroughbred horse racing, hunting fishing, tennis, golf and playing cards. He was a member of First Lutheran Church (North Branch) and Springfield Lodge A.F. & A.M.

He is survived by his Wife: Colleen Lamb of Syracuse, NE; Children: Susan Lamb of Lincoln, NE; Kevin Lamb of Otoe, NE; Kurtis Lamb and wife Iris of Cedar Creek, NE; Keri Hall and husband Eddie of Louisville, NE. 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Fred and Nina Lamb, Sister: Sharon Lamb

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at First Lutheran Church (North Branch) in Rural Avoca, Nebraska with Rev. William Dressen officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 9 AM until 9 PM with family greeting friends from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the First Lutheran (North Branch) Cemetery in Rural Avoca, Nebraska.
