Roger Sykes age 66 of Louisville, Nebraska, died at Methodist Hospital Omaha, NE, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

He was born May 19, 1945 in Beatrice, NE, to McKinley & Wilberta (Byers) Sykes.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, of Louisville, NE, children Becky & Dan Beck, of St. Louis, MO, TJ & Cheryl Sykes, of Garland, NE, and Missy & Ben Gist, of Valparaiso, NE, 8 grand children, Harrison ~ Kate ~ Ella ~ Harper Beck, Cody ~ Austin ~ Nate Sykes, and Lilly Gist, and his brother Bob & Stacy Sykes, of Claytonia, NE

Preceded in Death by his parents, first wife Mary, daughter Michelle

Park Superintendent of Platte River State Park, Hwy 66, Louisville, NE, for 30 years, and with Nebraska Game and Parks Commission for nearly 45 years.

He loved Hunting and hanging out with the Grandchildren at the Lake

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 17th, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. at the Walter Scott Lodge in the Platte River State Park 14421 346th Street, Hwy 66, Louisville, NE

VISITATION Friday, December 16, 2011, from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family at the Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. to greet friends.
