Roland was born, October 25, 1935, in Nehawka, Nebraska, to Fred & Ethel Miller. He passed away on November 29, 2010, at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center, at the age of 75 years, 1 month, and 4 days.

Roland grew up in Nehawka, and later lived with his Mother in Avoca. He enjoyed Fishing, Gardening, growing flowers & vegetables, and he loved putting up Christmas Lights and listening to Country Music.

Roland is survived by his sisters Marge Meyer of Syracuse, NE, Hazel Lawton and Larry of Nebraska City, NE, Brother-in-Law: Kenny and wife Virginia Kuhns of Nebraska City, NE, Nieces and Nephews: Brian and Michelle Meyer of Syracuse, NE, Larry Jr. and Susan Lawton of Diller, NE, Susie and Gaylen Weils of Shenandoah IA, Fred Oliver of Rinneyville, Kentucky, Debbie Blaszczyck of Cecilia, Kentucky, Tim Lawton of Nebraska City, NE.

Roland is preceded his parents, sisters Caroline Oliver, Gloria Kuhns, and brother Lee Miller

Rolands Funeral will be Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Fusselman Allen Harvey, Funeral Home Chapel 644 Park Street, Syracuse, Nebraska, with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Nehawka, Nebraska.

VISITATION will be Tuesday November 30 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
