Rosa Grundman was born on July 18, 1911 in Otoe, Nebraska to Andrew and Margretta (Dose) Burr. She passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 97 years, 5 months and 27 days.

She is survived by her daugher, Rosemary Whittaker of Omaha, NE; sons, Ron Grundman and wife Helen of Lincoln, NE; Paul Grundman and wife Helga of Tulsa, OK; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Andy & Henry, sisters, Katie Ganzel, Emma Kempke, Anna Burr, Freda Gawert, Bessie Beckfield, Leona Wolf.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 20, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Cook, Nebraska with Rev. Steve Billington officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18th from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Monday, January 19th from 9:00 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery in Rural Cook, Nebraska.
