Rosalyn Covert was born June 5, 1938 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, to Frank & Helen (Cechal) Koubek. She passed away, December 29th 2009, at her home, at the age of 71 years, 6 months, and 24 days.

Rosalyn Retired from the City of Plattsmouth, after 30 some years as Clerk/Treasurer. She also was the Business Manager of D.C.'s Waterhole, in Plattsmouth. Rosalyn enjoyed Stamp Collecting, Country Music, Bird Watching, playing games on her computer, and Book Collecting.

Rosalyn is survived by her son Danny Covert, Jr. & Jessica Macken, of Plattsmouth, NE, daughters Denise Covert & friend Stan Zych, of Plattsmouth, NE, Julie Lunn & husband Tregg, of Lincoln, NE, Jennifer Jensen & husband Shane, of Plattsmouth, NE, grandchildren Charles Daniel Covert, Margaret Rose Lunn, Erika Jensen, Alexis Jensen, Rose Ptacek, William Macken, Anastasia Macken 2-sisters Josephine Pfeffer, of Bellevue, NE, & Betty Koubek, of Plattsmouth, NE, also survived by Daniel Covert, Sr. and many nieces & nephews, and friends.

Rosalyn is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen Koubek, and sister Shirley Larsen

Rosalyn's Funeral will be Monday, January 4, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel 306 North 7th, Plattsmouth, NE with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE. Family suggest's Memorials to the Families Choice.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., all at the Funeral Home.
