Ross A. McWilliams, 87 of Unadilla, passed away on April 17, 2017 at home. He was born on January 14, 1930 to Charles & Leona (Weber) McWilliams in Unadilla.

Ross married Frances L. Royal on February 18, 1950 at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. He worked as a mechanic at Syracuse Farm Equipment and R&R Repair. Ross enjoyed fishing, gardening and bird watching. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and making them his special pancakes.

Ross is survived by his Daughters: Kathleen (Wayne) Schomerus of Syracuse, Diane (Ted) Oelke of Unadilla, Janet (Rex) Oelke of Unadilla, Joyce Gilbert & Gary Weiler of Syracuse, Donna McWilliams of Syracuse; Sons: Daniel (Babette) of Unadilla, Charles (Debra) of Syracuse, David (MaryBeth) of Lincoln, Keith (Tracy) of Syracuse, 26 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; Brother: Harold (Dorothy) McWilliams of Redding, CA; C. Ray (Carol) McWilliams of Fairfield, MT; Sisters-in-law: Teresa Brandt of Syracuse, Bertha Malone of Lincoln, Helen Royal of Syracuse, Rosemary Kavanaugh of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Frances, Infant Son, Sisters: Gladys Glaubitz & Ruby Faust, Brother: Earl McWilliams.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. Burial will be at Dudley cemetery in rural Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21 from 9 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and at church with the family from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
