Ruth A. Vogt, 73 of Elmwood, passed away June 14, 2018 at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln. She was born on January 29, 1945 to William & Gladys (Nelson) Reinholdson in Minneapolis, MN.

Ruth married Bruce Vogt on September 15, 1979 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Elmwood. She worked as an over the road truck driver and cooked for the Elmwood & Weeping Water Senior Centers. She belonged to the GWRRA Motorcycle Club and also enjoyed quilting and knitting.

She is survived by her Husband: Bruce of Elmwood; Step Son: Jeff (Angie) Vogt of Syracuse; Grandsons: Andrew Vogt of Avoca & Adam (Kristen) Vogt of Omaha; Sister: Pat (Larry) Lamont of Columbia Heights, MN; Son: Bill Hallenger; Nephews: Bill (Jacqui) Lamont of Anoka, MN; also many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 18 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Elmwood.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17 from 1-9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Home, Elmwood, NE.

Memorials are suggested to the Weeping Water Senior Center or Family's Choice.
