Ryan Wayne Zieger was born on September 8, 1976 in Syracuse, Nebraska to Ron and Janet (Filloon) Zeiger. He passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at his home in New York City, New York at the age of 31 years, 9 months and 20 days.

Ryan was raised in Syracuse, Nebraska he attended Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca Public Schools and graduated in 1995. He went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Colorado Institute of Art in 1999. He worked for several companies in Denver, London and New York City. At the time of his death he was doing freelance web design work in New York City.

Ryan is survived by his Parents: Ron & Janet Zeiger of Syracuse, NE; Sister: Rachel (Zeiger) Hinrikus and husband Adam of Grand Island, NE; Godson & Nephew: Liam Hinrikus of Grand Island, NE; Grandparents: Wayne & Frances Zeiger of Syracuse, NE: Robert & Therese Filloon of St. Joseph, MO; Aunts & Uncles: Clif & Aileen Zeiger of Wheaton, IL; Fred & LeeAnn Zeiger of Wilbur, NE: Angela & Dale Ripa of Lincoln, NE; Joan Harder of Carter Lake, IA; Jacqui & Roy Eagan of Cameron, MO; Sherry Filloon of Pasadena, TX. Also survived by many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Uncle: Robert Filloon.

Visitation (Closed Casket) will be held on Saturday, July 5th from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home, and Sunday, July 6th from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Rosary at the Funeral Home.

**A rosary service will be held on Sunday, July 6th at 7:00 P.M. at Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home Syracuse, Nebraska.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 7th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church with Father Michael Stec officiating.

Interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse, Nebraska.
