Scott Siebrass, aged 72, of Springfield, Nebraska, passed away on August 12, 2026 at Bergan Mercy Hosptial in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on November 1, 1953, to Martin and Marilynn (Mowinkel) Siebrass.

After graduating from Louisville High School in 1972, Scott enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he proudly served from June 1972, until May 1976. Following his military service, he furthered his education by earning an Associate's Degree in electronics from Metro Community College. His career spanned various roles including positions at Control Data and Vickers, ultimately dedicating 23 years as a Lab Technician A at Ash Grove Cement Company in Louisville.

Scott was an avid outdoorsman, cherishing his time hunting and fishing, possessing lifetime licenses in both activities. His love for Nebraska football and volleyball was evident in his spirited support for the teams. Known for his skills on the grill, he enjoyed smoking meats and sharing delicious meals with family and friends.

He was a lifetime member of the Plattsmouth VFW and a member of the American Legion Post #237 in Louisville.

Scott is survived by his four daughters, Tabitha Siebrass of Lincoln, NE, Vanessa Siebrass of Omaha, NE, Shannon (Alan) Rogers of Colorado Springs, CO, and Staci (Brandon) Cohn of Lincoln, NE. He was a loving grandfather to Austin, Daniel, Jessica, Lauren, Camden, and Carter as well as his great grandson, Colt. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Steve & Susan Scanlan along with cousins and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by: his parents, Martin Siebrass and Marilynn Siebrass, sister Kris Siebrass and wife Sheri Siebrass.

Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2026 with family greeting friends from 6pm until 8pm at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home, Louisville, NE.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday, Augsut 18, 2026 at 11:30am at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Bendorf officiating.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 2:30pm at the Omaha National Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
