Sharon M. Isaacs, 72, of Bennet, passed away on April 3, 2023, at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha. She was born on December 6, 1950, to Roscoe & Grace (Dieterich) Clapp in Lincoln. Sharon married Leonard Isaacs at the Unadilla Christian Church on May 14, 1971.

Sharon loved being a stay-at-home mom and later cherished her time as a grandma. She enjoyed camping, taking family vacations when the kids were young, and later taking trips to South Dakota. Sharon would take many drives around the countryside looking for deer and stopping to visit neighbors and family. She also developed a great love for her grand dogs, Moose, Paisley, and Peach.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Isaacs; daughters Susie Isaacs & Jerry McCarthy, Michele (Chadd) Furley; grandchildren Brooke Ambrose, Madison McCarthy & Elise Ambrose; mother, Grace Van Dyke; siblings Barb (Harold) Collins, Kevin Clapp, Alan (Mary) Van Dyke, Brian Van Dyke; also, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roscoe, son Michael Lee Isaacs and stepdad, Frank Van Dyke.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Facebook page. Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour before the start of the service. Burial will follow at the Unadilla Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
