Sheila E. Block, 95 of Lincoln, NE, passed away on April 26, 2018 at the Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island. She was born on February 19, 1923 to Louis & Delight (Griffith) Neubauer, on their homestead near Purdum, Nebraska.

She worked as a Registered Nurse at Bryan Hospital for 40 years, after graduating Bryan's School of Nursing, in 1946. Sheila married Orville Block on August 31, 1947, in Lincoln, NE.  She enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing. She also traveled all over the world with Orville. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her Son: Ron (Deanna) Block; Daughter: Charlotte (Frank) Morton; also grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with the many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, husband and infant son (Myron).

Private services will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to be sent to the Bryan Alumni Association.
